Fair Fee Update – Livestock
Many of you saw the discussion at the last Leader’s Federation about proposed additional fees for livestock at the Clark County Fair.  We have investigated further and know the following:

1.  There will NOT be additional fees for exhibiting livestock at the fair for 2014.  Although, there is continuing discussion happening for 2015 and beyond.
2.  The Fair Board is requesting that exhibitors make an effort to clean stalls/cages so the Forestry & Parks Department spends less time with the manual labor portion of this job.  Some project areas already do this.
3.  We – Leaders’ Federation, Fair Board, and Forestry & Parks Department – are working to figure out where the Environmental Fees reside and how they are used.

The Leader’s Federation appreciates everyone reading the newsletter and looks forward to another great 4-H year and 2014 Clark County Fair.  Please stay tuned for additional updates.

Thank you,

Matt Jorgensen
